To help us raise money for this fantastic company to visit Fairlop and share stories with our Nursery and Reception classes, we held a sponsored Fancy Dress walk and a Dance Off!
Nursery children wore their fancy dress and walked around the school field and Reception Classes did a dance off in the playground. Unfortunately, you will see from our short clip that we did not get to record all the event on video, so if any parents have film that we can use, please let Mrs Skinner (ICT Teacher) know!
Thanks to all the parents who attended and did so well in raising such a wonderful amount in sponsorship - we couldn't have done it without you! Watch our blogs to see how the children enjoy the storytelling event in the summer term.

Planting beans
The children in RBW have planted some broad beans. They each put some compost into a plant pot and then popped a broad bean into the soil. We have been watering them and they are all growing now. Please look at the photos to see if you can see your child.

Baby Boy
Mrs Wright gave birth to a baby boy weighing 7lb 1 oz at 8.23am on Thursday 22nd of January. Unfortunately we cant let you know the baby's name as this is undecided.
Wearing seatbelts by Year 5
On Wednesday 14th January two children from year 5 came to RBW to present a talk on wearing seat belts in cars. They presented this using the whiteboard as well as a toy car with little people in. The children asked some questions and at the end got a sticker from the year 5 children. You can see some of the pictures taken when they visited.
